It
was cold and damp but not raining. Just over 100 bikes showed up for
Chelsea
Ebert's funeral procession. I brought a 150' roll of pink
ribbon,
all of which was used for arm bands and antenna flags. We
gathered
at the soccer field parking lot around noon and after a 12:45
riders'
meeting we departed to the Cornwall Church where the funeral
service
had just begun. Just after 2:30 people began filing out of the
church
and the casket was loaded into the hearse. Half of the
motorcycles
led the procession to the cemetery followed by the hearse, 4
limos
and the rest of the motorcycles. After the graveside service we
accompanied
the limos back to the church where some went in for the
reception
while the rest went their own ways. As for me, I went home to
celebrate
Judi's birthday.
