The Traveling Tree  UPDATED 12-4-11

For those of us who were able to ride and do the Deception pass tour on Sunday, it was a really fun time.  Certainly would recommend this to all.

Here are some pictures -
1. 6 Gold Wings: Kamms, Kellets, Reids, Ingrams, Jarl, Renskers
2. Waiting for boat
3. THE Deception Pass Bridge from below
4.
5. Water - whirlpools and currents in all directions
6. On top of the bridge - in route.
7. That's the boat we were on - way "down there".
(The lady was walking across the bridge.)

Learned some of the history of the area.  Also, the currents and what makes this treacherous - etc.   We were there during Low Tide, thus the water was four feet higher on the sea side than the inside.  Very interesting day.

We came home via Anacortes and stopped in at the Arts/Crafts festival for lunch.  That was fun also.  Very very good day.
Thanks, Paul and Barbara Ingram for the suggestion.
Sincerely, Kathy
