Memorial Day Chapter Ride:
As it turned out on Monday - it was a rainy day,
but we did have several brave Wings show up for the Memorial Day Remembrance
Ceremony's. It was a good day to show our support for those who
have given their all so the rest of us can "ride" and enjoy our
freedoms. (Some of us did Drive, since it was a steady downpour in the
"north end" at 8:AM.)
See the following attached photo to share our
day. This was taken along Sweet Road at the "Field of Flags"
that our neighbors put out each year. They had kept our Chapter
flag from last year separate from the others to commemorate our stop.
And now they have two Chapter flags.
Those of us who participated started out meeting
at the Bellingham Memorial, a ride through Greenacres Cemetery on the way to
Blaine in time to gather and show support, then to downtown Lynden's Memorial,
and ending up with lunch at Dutch Mother's in Lynden.
Thank you to all who came and participated.
Another special, memorable day.
Kathy
