Riding season is finally officially here. At least that is what the calendar says. The spring Fun Run, the Lime Run, and our trailer course given by Randy all coming up in April.  A number of us went south for the Full Tilt Riders bike show in Tacoma on the 20th. and had a real good ride both ways. We finished up with a social at the Burke's that evening. It was real interesting to watch the riders of the "other" kinds interact and socialize with each other.  Even though they were from different clubs, they had one basic common tie. Their hobby and/or passion was their bikes. I look at our organization and see the same passion. We love the open road and sharing it with each other. I thank those of you who went to Tacoma with us, and our son also thanks you.  Clint was real proud and honored that several of our friends showed up.  Just a note; Mike and Peggy Hudnell and some other local GWRRA members showed up for a "look around" that day also.  Was nice to see them.

Edith and Terry opened their home and put on a great spread for everyone on March 20th, I know I enjoyed it. But everyone knows that us growing boys don't turn down good food. Thank you - Terry and Edith for a great evening.

We also honored Pam and Cliff Kamm with a Couple of the Year award at the social. They have done a lot for the chapter helping out new attendees and getting to know people. I know that they will be real good in this endeavor.

April is full of rides, fun, gatherings, and friends. Looking at the Chapter calendar - we have a full ride schedule for the summer.

I just ran across some of this glue and it shows great promise for fixing the cracks and broken pegs that seem to just appear in our ABS plastic parts. The people that turned me on to it had nothing but the highest praise for it. Below is borrowed from an online advertisement…

Loctite® UltraGel™ Rubber toughened Super Glue provides a super-tough bond that resists Impact, shock and vibration. Withstands temperature extremes (-20° through 80°). It is ideal for bonds subject to daily use and harsh conditions. The rubber toughened formula is also outdoor safe and gives more time to align pieces before the glue takes hold.

Drip-free gel formula for no-mess performance.

Pin-point squeeze-control dispensing.

Self-piercing, no-clog cap.

If it works as well as advertised, it should make repairs a lot easier as it sounds like it will fix just about anything.

Invitation from Canadian friends: Victoria Days 2010.

We need your assistance as time is flying by and our booked block of motel rooms goes open to the public April 21st. The motels everywhere are always full the May long weekend. It is their busiest weekend of the year here in Canada and last year people had a hard time finding a place as the Victoria Days event approached. Please pass this info on to your chapter participants.

Next, if you could let your folks know we need their registration forms in so we know how many wish to enjoy the dinner on Saturday night as we don't want anybody left out because they were too late registering. We have completed the menu and have attached a copy here for you to pass around. There is a time limit for getting tickets to the dinner.

There is a new link with all of our up dates coming soon on our web page but at this time Bill (our web master) is away.
