Hope to see everyone out for the Christmas Party:  Details from Randy:

Hi All, The party will start at our house at 6:00pm.  Debbie & I will provide buns & meat, mustard & mayo. Please bring a finger food of your choice.  We would like to know what you are bringing to avoid duplication. So please email us with what you are bringing. Don't forget to bring your favorite beverage. We moved the start time back so that those that want can attend the Candlelight Vigil.

Ron got word from Julie of Soldiers' Angels about the candlelight vigil at birch bay square. The vigil is starting at 4:00pm at the Spc. Aaron Aamot memorial courtyard. I understand that Soldiers' Angels is having a Christmas event all day in the Square.

Christmas is almost here. Hope you all are doing well. Debbie and I are preparing for the Christmas party this weekend. We hope to see you all here. Don't miss it.

We did get a family from the New Life Ministries. A Mom and her 2 sons. Here are the request from the three of them.

MOM:     Gas Voucher Make-up/Lotions

8 YEAR OLD BOY:   Horse/Cowboy/Ranch , anything Basketball

4 YEAR OLD BOY:     Hot Wheels/Trucks, Basketball

It is to be 2 gifts for each family member with no more than $25.00 each.

There is a certain way that we have to label them once we have them wrapped. Once they are wrapped they are to be put in a black bag and that is to be numbered.

They have requested that all gifts be back to them by the 12th but since this is a late arrival, our delivery date can be later. So please bring a little extra money to share with this family. The ladies will be needing the money to fill these request. We will talk more about it during the party this weekend.

On another topic the Road Captain Class that we were planning for the 28th of January does have a road portion that would require some ride time. So I found another course that covers the same material without the road time. It is called Team Riding. It takes 45 minutes to cover. So we may try doing it prior to a meeting or potluck. So I will be getting the information for that class together. Now all we need is a Seminar Presenter. So all you Presenters out there give me a call and let me know if you are up to the task.

If we try to do this before a meeting you will not have much time to prep for the presentation. I will let the seminar presenter that steps forward decide when it will be presented. It just needs to be done by March so we can make plans for the Road Captain Course later. I have many other things to work on this week so I'll be cutting this note short for now. So until later we wish you and yours' a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

P.S. I noticed that Wayne managed to get his picture in Wing World again. Check out page 82 of the January 2012 mag.
