December    5^th – “Olympia Toy Run” –  Chapter “I” - >From what I hear this is an awesome event.  Plan to meet up with chapter “I” for breakfast then off on the toy run.  You can end the day by riding in the “Santa Christmas Parade” in Puyallup.  We’ll have more information from chapter “I” as this event gets closer.

  11^th – 13^th – “International Motorcycle Show” – Being held again this year at the Quest Field Events Center in Seattle.  GWRRA will have a booth this year and the Washington District has been asked to man it.  I will be looking for volunteers to man the booth in two hour increments if possible.  We will have vendor badges to share to get you into the show for free.  Watch for the sign up list to be sent out to you in the near future.  First come first served on the times you ask for.  Check out the show info at www.motorcycleshows.com/seattle

  12^th – “Festival of Lights ” - Chapter “D” -  Montesano, WA.  Have you ever seen Santa riding a wing, or a Gold Wing transformed into a John Deere tractor, or a cement truck with enough Christmas lights to light up a small country?  The light parade is amazing and chapter “D” really knows how to throw a party.  Get your  chapter together and join chapter D for a fun time decorating bikes and riding in the Christmas Light Parade, or just come down to watch and participate in the potluck!    This is a great chapter and family event.  If you go, rule number one is that you’re not allowed to out bid your district director for the molasses cookies on the silent auction J.  Flyer attached above and will be posted on the district website soon. 

  19^th – “Christmas Bus To Leavenworth” – Chapter “Z” – You are all invited to join the chickens on Chapter "Z"s Christmas Bus ride to Leavenworth.  There are four pick up points along the way.  We have about 16 open spots, first come first served.  The cost is $69 per person and includes a breakfast bar on the bus, a hospitality room with soup and hot beverages in Leavenworth and lot’s of goodies and a Christmas Movie on the trip home.  OH! and don't forget the fun that Chapter "Z" will be having and sharing with our friends and family.  If you, or any of your members are interested in joining us, e-mail Jesse Valentine at jmvalentine2008@peoplepc.com or call Eva at 360-888-0550 or Julie Weese at 360-736-5989.
