Garry Chapter Director, Started the meeting with the flag salute with all joining in. A greeting and introducing of guests having Jeff,Genieve and Ashley back for awhile is great, also to see our travelere back and all safe.

Various upcoming events and the Grand Coulee Dam Ride and Campout announcements were made.

Rick Seater presented us with a very serious questionto consider. How do you turn off your motorcycle when you stop? Huh ! Well think about it. How do you and be safe.

He explained to us and told us of a couple of friends that had their throttles stick. How do you shut off your bike? Think again ! Do you take your brake hand off and reach over to your key? NO !!!!! What about the kill switch, remember if you take your hand off the brake lever serious things can happen when the bike is racing or moving because of a stuck gas thottle. So practice reaching with your fingers for the kill switch, it could be a matter of serious concern. Remember don't take your hand off.

We welcomed a new couple from Anacortes. Greg and Connie Gibbons, Riding a yelloe 1800. They are semi-retered andenjoy being involved with GWRRA. Theywere very pleased with our group and found us very friendly and can't wait to join in onour activites.

It was a very short meeting with all of our summer activtes coming to an end it was so good to have 24 members attending and 2 visitors.

Garry encouraged everyone to attend the October Leadership Training Classes. ten dollars is preregstration fee including lunch and $12.oo at the door this is for everyone not just for leaders.Lots of class choices.

See ya in October--- REMEMBER--- October is Installation of New Officers.

Marcia VanKirk's name was drawn for colors but she was not present---SORRY!! 5 bucks more added --$15.00 for the taking in October if you're the lucky one.

Up coming Chapter Event-- November is the planning of 2010 events--got some good ideas? where to eat, camp, ride, potluck, brown bag, etc.
