Hello all - thought I'd share some of our pictures
from the Oregon trip that Ron, Betty, Ray, Chet and myself, Kathy, did two
weeks ago.
We had a great time. First night out was at
Betty's sister's lovely place in Quincy, WA. Beautiful place to stop
over. Thanks so much.
Second evening we shared dinner with Kathy's
friends in the La Grande Area. Had them come for dinner at Catherine
Creek State Park, which was one of the Parks that Kathy and her parents used
to stay every summer. (Kathy was raised in the La Grande area.) Classmate
Trudy and her husband Phil. And another classmate, John and Jody Craig
who are GWRRA members and ride an Illusion blue Wing.
Got to see Crater Lake, and also spend some time
at Chet's sister's home in the mountains. Barb and Dwayne, thanks
so much. While coming back from Crater Lake - we were stopped for a
cattle drive. Needless to say - Ron was in his glory, all that wonderful
"country left overs" on the road - ??? And we also got
to watch the "real bosses" in full working mode. They had
three dogs who really knew their stuff.
Ron developed a "sound" on the Wing,
thus they cut their trip short by a day, and headed home up the Oregon
Coast. Chet and Kathy visited with Chet's family in the Medford
area and we also came home up the Oregon Coast. Great week, but
much too short.
