Kathy Renskers 5 4 2008

To share our Sunday.  Some of Chapter H braved Hwy 20 Sunday, and it turned out to be a beautiful day.  Couldn't have been better.  Found 70* in Winthrop.
Met REI @ 9:00 - - -
Ron and Betty, Cliff and Pam, Rodger and Renee, Randy and Debbie, Paul and Cathy, Chet and Kathy.  Along the way we found Dave VanKirk, and then Bob and Helene met us over there.  What a beautiful ride, what a beautiful day!   Six (12 riders) started from Bellingham, eight (15 riders) coming back.

Here's some pictures 1 of 3.  Some were taken "in route", you'll see us on the road.  And I can't tell you how hard it was to choose which pictures to send and share.  I have more.  The mountains were so beautiful - majestic.  Randy took pictures too, looking forward to seeing more.
Enjoy!
Love, Kathy

Along the way we could see where some big slides/avalanches had taken place, they sure did have some problems to clear away and take care of.

We met many other bikes going and coming.  I think there were more motorcycles than cars on the road.  K

We stopped at "Diablo Lake" viewpoint. Still as beautiful as ever - of course.
Anyway, hope you enjoyed sharing our day with us.
